ABOUT MYKO

A premium apothecary built on what's measurable.

MYKO is a precision-formulated functional mushroom and Active Botanical brand for people who notice the difference between marketing and mechanism.

The Why

There are thousands of mushroom brands. Most sell the idea of mushrooms.

Walk into any wellness aisle and you'll find shelves of "mushroom complex" capsules made from mycelium grown on grain. The label says mushroom; the contents are 80% rice flour and inactive mycelium tissue. The compounds people came for — the beta-glucans, the triterpenes, the hericenones — exist only in the fruiting body, and only in measurable quantities when the extract ratio is high enough to matter.

MYKO was built for the people who already noticed.

Every formula in the line uses 100% fruiting-body extracts at species-specific concentration ratios. Every ingredient is listed by weight, in milligrams, with its extraction ratio printed beside it. There are no proprietary blends. There is no marketing math. The dose on the label is the dose in the capsule.

What we sell is not the idea of mushrooms. It's the compounds — at the concentrations the research actually used.

Three Standards

How MYKO formulates differently.

01

Species-Specific

100% Fruiting Body

Every mushroom in the MYKO system is sourced as a fruiting body — the part of the organism that contains the medicinal compounds — never mycelium-on-grain. We name the species, the harvest origin, and the extraction method. Anything less is filler.

02

Ratio-Concentrated

8:1 to 12:1 Extraction

Concentration ratio is the difference between research-grade dosing and decoration. MYKO formulas use 8:1 to 12:1 extracts — the same density used in the studies the compounds were originally validated by. We print the ratio next to the milligrams so you can do the math.

03

Transparently Dosed

No Proprietary Blends

Proprietary blends are how supplement brands hide cheap ingredients behind expensive ones. MYKO labels list each ingredient by weight, in milligrams, with its extraction ratio. If a compound is in the formula, you know how much. If it's not, you know that too.

What we do · What we won't

The lines we won't cross.

What We Do

  • Source 100% fruiting body — never mycelium-on-grain, never starch-based filler
  • Print extraction ratios next to the milligram weight on every label
  • Third-party lab test every batch for potency, contaminants, and microbials
  • Use HPMC vegan capsules — no gelatin, no titanium dioxide, no synthetic dyes
  • Pair with Shilajit fulvic acid on every active formula for an absorption-supporting delivery layer
  • Document the mechanism — every product page names the receptor, pathway, or compound

What We Won't

  • Proprietary blends — every milligram is named
  • Mycelium-on-grain — measurable beta-glucans don't live in starch
  • Marketing math — no "equivalent to X mg of fresh mushroom" without the ratio printed
  • Unverified claims — we cite mechanisms, not promises
  • Fillers, dyes, or magnesium stearate — clean capsule, every batch
  • Hidden or unsourced active compounds — Active Botanical material is named and disclosed
The Premise
We started MYKO because the gap between what the research shows and what the supplement aisle sells was big enough to build a whole brand inside.
