EUPHORIA is the only MYKO formula that uses a different Active Botanical than the rest of the line — and the only one with extract ratios designed to push past the standard tier. Here's the architecture behind the premium positioning, and what makes the warmer signature distinct.
Short answer
EUPHORIA is MYKO's premium-tier protocol formula, built on the same four-role architecture as the other active formulas (signal · growth · fuel · delivery) but with three deliberate upgrades: a rare-species Active Botanical (100 mg, chosen for a warmer signature than the standard variant), the line's most concentrated Reishi 12:1 at 200 mg (standardized to ≥4% triterpenes / ≥30% polysaccharides), and the line's most concentrated Chaga 9:1 at 150 mg. Plus the standard Shilajit (60% fulvic acid, 100 mg) delivery layer.
Total active fill: 550 mg per 1-capsule serving. Designed for occasion-led, intentional use rather than continuous protocol cycling. Sold in 16- and 33-capsule sizes only, at premium-tier pricing ($55 / 16 caps, $88 / 33 caps).
What makes EUPHORIA different from the other actives
The other three active formulas (NEUROGENESIS, CORTEX, EMBODY) all use the same standard Active Botanical at the same 100 mg signal dose. EUPHORIA breaks from this in three ways:
| Element | Standard actives | EUPHORIA |
|---|---|---|
| Active Botanical species | Standard variant | Rare-species variant |
| Reishi (if present) | 10:1 ratio | 12:1 ratio (200 mg, line's highest dose at line's highest ratio) |
| Chaga (if present) | 8:1 ratio | 9:1 ratio (150 mg, line's highest dose at line's highest ratio) |
| Cordyceps | Present in NEUROGENESIS and CORTEX | Not present in EUPHORIA |
| Reishi compound minimums | Disclosed beta-glucan | Standardized to ≥4% triterpenes / ≥30% polysaccharides (line's most heavily specified) |
| SKU sizes | 16 / 33 / 66 / 132 caps | 16 / 33 caps only |
| Pricing | $2.00–$2.75/cap | $2.67–$3.44/cap |
The four-role architecture, applied to EUPHORIA
Signal — Rare-species Active Botanical (100 mg)
EUPHORIA's Active Botanical is the only meaningfully different signal layer in the MYKO line. We refer to it as the rare-species Active Botanical for compliance reasons; specifics are detailed in the documentation included with your product.
What's worth knowing without naming the species: the rare-species variant has been chosen for a warmer felt signature than the standard Active Botanical used in NEUROGENESIS, CORTEX, and EMBODY. "Warmer" here is the practitioner-literature term for a softer, more emotionally-toned felt profile compared to the standard variant's more neutral character. Both sit in the sub-perceptual microdose range at 100 mg; the difference is qualitative, not quantitative.
The rare-species variant is also harder to source — one of the reasons EUPHORIA carries the premium-tier price. The longer Active Botanical framing is in What "Active Botanical" Actually Means.
Growth (and calm) — Reishi 12:1 (200 mg)
Ganoderma lucidum, fruiting body 12:1 extract, 200 mg, dual extracted. Standardized to ≥4% triterpenes and ≥30% polysaccharides.
This is the most heavily specified Reishi in the MYKO line. The 12:1 ratio is the highest in the line (other formulas use 10:1), and the disclosed triterpene minimum (≥4%) is rare in the broader Reishi category. The triterpene fraction is what carries Reishi's calm-supportive, HPA-axis-adjacent activity; concentrating it at 12:1 and disclosing the minimum is what makes EUPHORIA's Reishi qualitatively different from the standard mushroom-supplement Reishi.
The 200 mg dose is also the line's highest. In EMBODY, Reishi is 125 mg (10:1); in CORTEX, 150 mg (10:1); in ADAPT, 80 mg (10:1). EUPHORIA's 200 mg / 12:1 means the formula carries approximately 2× the bioactive Reishi load of the next-highest Reishi formula in the line.
This is the central design choice behind EUPHORIA's warmer signature. The longer triterpene-specific deep dive is in Triterpenes: Why Reishi's Bitter Edge Matters; the longer Reishi monograph is in Reishi: The Adaptogenic Logic of Calm.
Growth (and warmth) — Chaga 9:1 (150 mg)
Inonotus obliquus, wildcrafted birch-host, fruiting body 9:1 extract, 150 mg.
EUPHORIA's Chaga is the only Chaga in the line at 9:1; ADAPT and EMBODY use 8:1. The 150 mg dose is also the line's highest Chaga input. This adds polyphenol density and antioxidant capacity to the formula at a level the standard actives don't carry.
Pairing Reishi 12:1 (200 mg) with Chaga 9:1 (150 mg) is what gives EUPHORIA its distinctive felt character — the dual extraction's calm-anchored triterpene work alongside Chaga's polyphenol-and-melanin warmth. The two mushrooms together carry 350 mg of high-ratio extract, which is more than NEUROGENESIS's two-mushroom combination (350 mg) at the standard ratios. The longer Chaga monograph is in Chaga: The Antioxidant Polyphenol Mushroom.
Delivery — Shilajit (100 mg, 60% fulvic acid)
Standard Shilajit. EUPHORIA carries the same 100 mg delivery layer as the other active formulas. The Shilajit isn't where the premium-tier upgrades sit; the upgrades are in the signal and growth layers above. The longer Shilajit version is in Shilajit: The Delivery Layer in Every MYKO Formula.

Note: EUPHORIA does not contain Cordyceps, Lion's Mane, or Turkey Tail. The architecture is built around the rare-species Active Botanical plus a tight, high-concentration Reishi-and-Chaga pair, not around a broader mushroom subset.
Why no Cordyceps in EUPHORIA
EUPHORIA is the only active formula without Cordyceps, and the omission is intentional. The premium tier's warmer signature works against the energy-and-fuel layer Cordyceps brings. Cordyceps in CORTEX and NEUROGENESIS is the "steady alertness under load" input; EUPHORIA isn't built for that use case. The formula is meant for intentional, occasion-led use — the architecture shouldn't fight the mood the rare-species Active Botanical is establishing.
The energy-metabolism work in EUPHORIA is implicit: the polyphenol and polysaccharide fractions of Reishi 12:1 and Chaga 9:1, at the high doses EUPHORIA uses, carry some of what Cordyceps would carry in a different formula. But the dedicated fuel role is absent by design.
When to reach for EUPHORIA
| Situation | EUPHORIA fit |
|---|---|
| Occasion-led use — meaningful conversations, deep work sessions, intentional creative time | Strong |
| Practitioner-level microdose experience, looking for a warmer felt signature | Strong |
| Stretches where the calm-and-warm character serves the work better than the standard active variant | Strong |
| First-time microdose protocol use | Weak fit — start with standard NEUROGENESIS or CORTEX to learn your response to the standard Active Botanical first |
| Daily protocol use without occasion focus | Weak fit — the other actives are better-positioned for routine arcs; EUPHORIA's positioning is occasion-led |
| Daily indefinite use | No — EUPHORIA contains an Active Botanical and is a protocol formula; ADAPT is the daily foundation |
Pricing and SKU rationale
EUPHORIA is sold in 16- and 33-capsule sizes only (no 66 or 132 sizes), priced at $55 and $88 respectively. The smaller SKU strategy reflects the occasion-led use positioning — EUPHORIA isn't built for the four-arcs-a-year continuous cycling pattern that the other active formulas often get used in.
The premium markup vs the standard tier ($3.44/cap at 16 size, $2.67/cap at 33 size, vs the standard tier's $2.00–$2.75/cap) reflects three real cost factors: rare-species Active Botanical sourcing, 12:1 Reishi (more starting material per unit of finished extract), and 9:1 Chaga (same).
FAQ — common questions about EUPHORIA
What's actually in EUPHORIA?
Rare-species Active Botanical 100 mg + Reishi 12:1 (200 mg, standardized to ≥4% triterpenes / ≥30% polysaccharides) + Chaga 9:1 (150 mg) + Shilajit at 60% fulvic acid (100 mg). One capsule per serving. Other ingredients: HPMC vegan capsule.
What does "rare-species Active Botanical" mean?
EUPHORIA's Active Botanical is a different species than the one used in NEUROGENESIS, CORTEX, and EMBODY. We refer to it as the rare-species variant for compliance reasons; specifics ship with the product. The rare-species variant has been chosen for a warmer felt signature than the standard variant.
Is EUPHORIA stronger than the other formulas?
"Stronger" is the wrong frame. EUPHORIA is qualitatively different: a different Active Botanical species, the line's highest extract ratios, and a tighter mushroom subset built around a warmer signature rather than around cognitive or stress-pathway work. Whether that's "stronger" depends entirely on what you're measuring.
Can I take EUPHORIA every day?
Not recommended. The Active Botanical inside EUPHORIA puts it in the protocol category — designed for 4–8 week arcs on Stamets or Fadiman cadence, with reset periods between arcs. EUPHORIA's positioning specifically leans more occasion-led than continuous-cycling, so even within the protocol framework most practitioners use it more sparingly than the standard actives.
Why is EUPHORIA only available in 16 and 33 capsule sizes?
The SKU strategy reflects the occasion-led positioning. EUPHORIA isn't built for the high-volume continuous cycling pattern of NEUROGENESIS or CORTEX. The 16 and 33 cap sizes cover the typical use pattern (a single Fadiman arc fits comfortably in 33 caps; a single Stamets arc more comfortably in two 33 packs).
Is EUPHORIA safe with my medications?
The active-formula safety block applies, same as the other actives: don't combine with lithium, consult professional if on SSRIs/SNRIs/MAOIs or with psychosis/Bipolar I history, not for pregnancy/nursing/under 18. If any of those apply, talk to a clinician before starting.
How does EUPHORIA compare to NEUROGENESIS or CORTEX?
NEUROGENESIS is cognitive-pathway focused (Lion's Mane + Cordyceps + standard Active Botanical). CORTEX is stress-pathway focused (Cordyceps + Reishi + standard Active Botanical). EUPHORIA is occasion-led with a warmer signature (Reishi 12:1 + Chaga 9:1 + rare-species Active Botanical). Different jobs, different felt characters, different price points. The longer comparison is in The Five MYKO Formulas Compared.
What does EUPHORIA's "warmer signature" actually feel like?
Subjective and varies by user. Practitioners commonly describe EUPHORIA's character as more emotionally-toned, more relational, and softer than the standard Active Botanical's character. Compared to NEUROGENESIS (often described as crisp and cognitively-toned) and CORTEX (often described as steady and grounded), EUPHORIA tends to land warmer. Some practitioners find EUPHORIA more suited to creative and reflective work; others use it for intentional social or relational contexts. None of this is a benefit claim — the felt experience varies and the formula is designed for occasion-led rather than performance-led use.
A closing reflection
EUPHORIA is the formula MYKO put the most concentrated extracts and the rarest Active Botanical into, and the formula we built for the use cases that don't fit the standard cognitive-or-stress framing. It's premium for real reasons: rare-species sourcing, 12:1 Reishi at ≥4% triterpenes, 9:1 wildcrafted Chaga, all at the line's highest doses for each. The architecture is the same four roles as the rest of the line; the inputs are dialed differently.
Use EUPHORIA when the occasion calls for it. Run ADAPT underneath as the daily foundation. Take the companion stack alongside (B-complex, magnesium glycinate at dinner, sleep, hydration, breath).
